Washington State has entered Phase 2, which means we can finally hold in-person events outdoors! Fire Mountain has just opened back up for business and after the past year of being closed, there’s some work that needs to be done to get it ready for visitors. Saturday March 13 is coming up and it’s long past time we finally get back together for a proper Second Saturday Work Party!

Following the Council’s guidance, there is a COVID screening form that all participants will need to fill out in order to participate. For youth a parent’s signature is required. If anyone shows up without this form we have no choice but to send you home. Sorry, but this is for everyone’s health and safety.

We are not able to serve lunch this time, so please bring one for yourself along with your water bottle. We will hopefully be able to do so next time, but for now all we can provide are snacks.

Check-in will be in the Fire Mountain Scout Camp parking lot at 9:00 AM.

So, what do you need to do?

Step 1: Mark your calendar for March 13 at 9:00 AM.

Step 2: Tell us you’re coming by filling out this form.

Step 3: Complete the pre-event health screening form and bring it with you.

Step 4: Show up, have fun, do work!

See you there!

Yours in Scouting,

Matt Wiles, Vice Chair for Cheerful Service
