Lodge Executive Committee
The LEC is Sikhs Mox Lamonti’s Lodge Executive Committee. The LEC is made up of officers who are elected annually during the Lodge’s Annual Business Meeting, including Chapter Chiefs, and adult advisers.
Sikhs Mox Lamonti is an Order of the Arrow lodge chartered to the Mount Baker Council. Sikhs Mox Lamonti is a part of Section W-1N of the Western Region of the Order of the Arrow.
The mission of the Order of the Arrow is to fulfill its purpose as an integral part of the Boy Scouts of America through positive youth leadership under the guidance of selected capable adults.
As Scouting’s National Honor Society, our purpose is:
To recognize those campers, Scouts, and Scouters, who best exemplify the scout oath and law in their daily lives and by such recognition cause other campers to conduct themselves in such a manner as to warrant recognition.
To develop and maintain camping traditions and spirit.
To promote scout camping, which reaches its greatest effectiveness as a part of the unit’s camping program, both year-round and in the summer camp, as directed by the camping committee of the council.
To crystallize the Scout habit of helpfulness into a life purpose of leadership in cheerful service to others.
The Lodge Executive Meetings are on the 3rd Thursday of every month at 7:00pm. These meetings are open to all Lodge members, who can join these meetings virtually while COVID-19 restrictions are still in effect.
As of November 2021, LEC meetings will be taking place in person at the Mount Baker Council’s Everett Service Office for LEC members and their advisers, with all lodge members invited to join virtually. The meeting announcement and meeting access link will be emailed to all lodge members in advance of these meetings. Members will be advised if the LEC meeting will take place at a different location.
